El examen clínico - reproductivo en hembras bovinas en la región semiárida central

La preponderancia que viene tomando la agricultura desde hace varios años provoca que la ganadería se vaya desplazando hacia zonas más marginales, jerarquizando así el correcto aprovechamiento del recurso suelo. Esto genera el desafío de mejorar los procesos productivos (en especial el reproductivo) de la hembra bovina dentro de un ambiente que le es menos favorable. Además, condiciona al sistema cría (y recría, si es factible) a ser alimentado bajo condiciones pastoriles extensivas y éste no siempre satisface la totalidad de las necesidades nutricionales afectando la eficiencia del sistema y por ende su rentabilidad representada por lograr un ternero por vaca y por año. En consecuencia es necesario caracterizar la región fitogeográfica, realizar un recuerdo anatomofisiológico del aparato reproductor de la hembra, efectuar una objetiva valoración clínica, ya que resulta obvio partir de un animal clínicamente sano para el logro del éxito productivo y generar un protocolo que permita mejorar la rentabilidad de la producción ganadera en la región semiárida central pampeana.,,"Ganadería
