La difícil recepción de Émile Durkheim en la Universidad Nacional del Litoral (1910-1947)

Abstract

El presente trabajo estudia la recepción de las ideas de Émile Durkheim en la cátedra de Sociología de la Facultad de Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales de la Universidad del Litoral entre 1910-1947. Para ello, el texto se concentra en los libros, artículos, notas de clase, etc., de aquellos que fueron profesores de la mencionada cátedra: Gustavo Martínez Zuviría, José Oliva, José María Rosa y Francisco Ayala. A lo largo del texto, se apreciará una difícil difusión de la sociología francesa entre los primeros profesores santafesinos, lo cual no impidió, sin embargo, la aparición de lecturas y aplicaciones originales de la teoría del intelectual alsaciano.

The present work aims to study the reception of Emile Durkheim´s ideas in the “Sociology” chair of the School of Law of the University of Litoral between 1910-1947. To achieve it, the text focus on the books, articles, class notes, etc., of those who were professors of the afore chair: Gustavo Martínez Zuviría, José Oliva, José María Rosa and Francisco Ayala. Throughout the text, a difficult diffusion of French sociology among the first Santa Fe professors will be appreciated, which did not, however, prevent the apparition of original readings and applications of the theory of the Alsatian intellectual.
