Caracterización y estrategias farmacológicas para mejorar los problemas de fertilidad en rodeos lecheros

Abstract

Una característica relevante de los rodeos lecheros es la notoria disminución de los índices reproductivos. El objetivo general es caracterizar la problemática en un rodeo en la Pcia de La Pampa y evaluar el impacto de diferentes estrategias farmacológicas sobre las estructuras ováricas y el ambiente uterino. Los objetivos específicos son: i) caracterizar las tasas de concepción y pérdidas de gestación en un año en un rodeo lechero y evaluar factores de riesgo, como factores climáticos, índice de temperatura y humedad (ITH), condición corporal (CC) y cambios de dietas; ii) estudiar el efecto de un tratamiento extendido de progesterona (P4) sobre la reanudación de la ciclicidad postparto; y iii) evaluar el efecto de un tratamiento con eCG post IA sobre el ambiente uterino y la fertilidad. Se determinarán: i) tasas de concepción a los 35, 100 y 180 días post IA en tambo comercial con servicio por IA continuo; ii) P4 los días 35, 52, 59 y 69 postparto; el día 69 se analizará P4, estradiol, glucosa y NEFA; iii) P4 y PAGs en sangre y receptores de esteroides, LIF-R, IL6ST e IGFBP los días 22, 29 y 35 de gestación. El día 35 se determinará P4, LIF, IGF-1 y PG-F2a en fluido luminar uterino.

There has been a marked decline in the reproductive index of dairy cows. The objective of this study is to characterize the state of arts in La Pampa and evaluate the efficacy of different pharmacological strategies over ovarian structure and uterine environment. The specific objectives are: i) evaluate the effects of climate factors, temperature-humidity index, body score condition and changes in diet on conception and loses rates over a year in a dairy herd; ii) study the effect of a extended treatment with progesterone (P4) over postpartum anestrous; and iii) study the effect of a extended treatment with eCG post AI over uterine environment and fertility. There will be recorded: i) conception rates at 35, 100 and 180 d post AI in a dairy herd; ii) P4 levels at 35, 52, 59 y 69 d postpartum and P4, estradiol, glucose and NEFA at 69 d; iii) P4 and PAGs levels in blood and estradiol receptors, LIF-R, IL6ST e IGFBP at 22, 29 and 35 d of pregnancy.
