Perennial pastures are the forage basis which supports the production of meat in our country, among them alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) is one of the most important forage resources. From the nutrients it consumes, nitrogen, phosphorus and less frecuently, boron and sulfur, are the most limiting ones. Phosphorus is found in soil in both organic and inorganic forms, and geochemical and biological processes regulate its availability. At the same time, it can be found as: highly labile phosphorus, labile phosphorus, moderately labile phosphorus, inorganic phosphorus, organic and inorganic phosphorus in a very stable manner. It is considered that the use of phosphorus solubilizing microorganisms would promote the availability of this element solubilizing the different fractions present in soil. The aim of this work is to verify the action of phosphorus solubilizing bacteria on the different fractions of this element found in the soil and quantify this effect. In this study, techniques will be optimized and tests will be carried out in a greenhouse with soil with a low content of available phosphorus, which will be inoculated with isolates of solubilizing bacteria of this element. Phosphorus will be quantified in the different soil fractions at the beginning and the end of this essay by the colorimetric method of Murphy and Riley.
