Vueltas y revueltas de la derecha peruana en el siglo XXI

Abstract

En este artículo caracterizamos tres fuerzas de derecha que se disputan la escena política peruana actual, identificando el sistema de representaciones a través del cual buscan su arraigo popular y electoral y problematizando sus crisis y recomposiciones. Se identifican tres tendencias o sectores: la derecha autoritaria y populista liderada por Keiko Fujimori; la derecha tecnocrática encarnada en funcionarios de Estado e ideólogos de diversos think tanks; y la derecha conservadora y religiosa que, aunque no tiene una organización partidaria propia, goza de un poder de lobbyy convocatoria que le ha permitido el ingreso en la agenda pública, la política parlamentaria y el ejecutivo subnacional.

In this article, we characterize three Right forces that dispute the current Peruvian political scene, identifying the system of representations through which they seek their popular and electoral roots, and problematizing their crises and recompositions. Three tendencies or sectors are identified: the authoritarian and populist Right, led by Keiko Fujimori; the technocratic Right embodied in State officials and ideologists of various Think Tanks; and the conservative and religious Right that, although does not have its own party organization, has a lobbying and convening power that has allowed it to enter the public agenda, parliamentary politics and the subnational executive.
