In La Pampa the soybean crops gain relevance year after year, but there exists a gap between the potential yield and the average level obtained in the province. An alternative is to work with different maturity groups so that the critical period of the crops doesn´t run into the season of water deficiency, and modify the crops structure, through different row spacing, intervening in the efficiency of the water and radiation use. The objectives of this Thesis were to evaluate the effect of different maturity groups and row spacing on the yield and it´s components. In the campaign of 2012/2013, fives varieties of Don Mario; 3070, 3810, 4212, 4670 y 5,1i., were planted by three row spaces; 0,25 m., 0,52 m. and 0,70 m. The variables measured were: height, pod per plant, yield, number of grain per meter square, weight of a thousand grains, dry matter and the crop growth rate. The greater number of pod per plant was observed in the greater row spacing. The number of grains per meter square increased with the reduction of the row spacing, the varieties of the shorter groups achieved the greater number of grains per meter square. The weight of a thousand grains didn´t show significant differences for the different row spacing. The yield was greater with the smaller row spacing as well as the height and the crop growth rate. The production of dry matter was greater in the shorter maturity groups in the three moments of sampling. The varieties that better responded to this test and these environmental conditions were those in the intermediate cycle and those planted with a row spacing of 0,25m.
