dc.description.abstract | It is estimated that approximately 30% of the country's territory is home to the Equinoccocus granulosus domestic zoonotic cycle. The area involved is distributed heterogeneously throughout the country, some provinces are grossly contaminated and others only partially; however all provincial jurisdictions recognize the existence of the parasite and its mechanisms of transmission to humans. This work aims to correlate the macroscopic and microscopic pathological diagnoses in a refrigerator, considering that there is no absolute correlation between the diagnosis based on the casuistry of the Chair and publications, since these values are lacking. Cystic lesions were quantified using macroscopic liver histopathological confirmation, the diagnosis is based on typical morphological observation. The results will let us establish the correlation between the microscopic and macroscopic diagnosis and assess the diagnostic inspection in the refrigerator | en |
